Privacy Policy

This site is run by Muhammed Shibli, an individual developer, not a company with a legal department. This policy is written in plain language for the same reason the rest of the site is: I'd rather you understand it than skim past it.

What this site collects today

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages visitors find useful — page views, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and how visitors navigate between pages. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. This data is aggregated and I use it to decide what to write about next and whether the site is working, not to identify individual visitors. You can read Google's own explanation of what Analytics collects at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

The hosting server separately logs standard web-server data for every request (IP address, requested page, browser user-agent, timestamp) — this is infrastructure-level logging, not a tracking product, and it exists mainly for security and debugging. Logs are not sold or shared.

This site also displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data, and manage your ad personalization settings, at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and opt out of personalized advertising (where supported in your region) at adssettings.google.com. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your past visits to this website or other websites.

If you email me or message me on WhatsApp or Telegram, I receive whatever you send — your address or number, and the content of the message. I use that only to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the project. I don't add you to a mailing list or share your contact details with anyone else.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Google AdSense, both described above, set cookies in your browser — Google's cookies, governed by Google's policies linked above, not something this site controls directly. Your browser may also cache static files (fonts, images, page assets) locally for performance — that's standard browser behavior, not a tracking cookie, and it doesn't identify you.

Third-party links

Articles and pages link out to services I use or reference — Telegram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, GitHub, pub.dev, and client tools like Razorpay or Firebase mentioned in case studies. Once you click through, you're on their site under their privacy policy, not mine.

Your rights

If you've contacted me and want your message or contact details deleted from my inbox, email shiblivalliyoth42@gmail.com and I'll do it. There's no automated account system on this site to manage — it's a personal site, not a SaaS product.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects changes, this page gets updated first, and the date below moves. It was last updated to disclose Google Analytics and Google AdSense.
